Those of you saying the Vita should score the same as the 3DS are clearly charged by bias. 3DS set the standard. It launched at $250 with tech that is objectively worse than the Vita's, you can't really sugarcoat that. I fail to see why it should be given the same score, its new $170 price is absolutely irrelevant.

But hey if you want to feel better Cnet gave the 3DS a better score because the iphone is better than the Vita. I wish I was joking but that's essentially how the journalist justified his reasoning.

Oh don't you worry, I'm no advocate for a numerical rating system. I meant the criticisms in general, such as the lack of content, poor online, long loading times and supposedly for some reason 30fps looks bad here even though 99% of today's console games run at 30fps.

They just reviewed Lumines and Rayman Origins for those interested. Might switch Wipeout for Lumines as it truly does look great. Rayman Origins however, they took out the co-op, what a shame. Also Hot Shot's score has risen above Uncharted on metacritic... first time Famitsu may have a similar opinion with Western critics.

I'd have to say if I actually could buy a Sony product then it wouldn't be too bad if they offered a program like Nintendo did with the 3DS.  Those launch games actually looks like a decent line up (I'd probably be interested in 3-4).  Price cut probably will happen (especially if sales are sluggish up to the holiday season).  If anything they should follow Nintendo's lead.  Do the price cut in the summer during the usually dry months and offer free games to the ones that purchased it before the price cut.  Now the only question is where is their Mario?

pretty low scores on Meta... Kinda expected.

I'm kinda surprised how high all (except Uncharted. I thought that would get a 9) of the scores are, but I'll probably get to play these games sooner or later so the reviews kinda don't sway me since I'm still not inclined to buy it yet.

Wipeout 2048 looks pretty I awesome.

I played the demo, and the load times were indeed an issue. Compared to the other ones.

Lumines! Great score, that game will probably be my most played for a while.
