I really wish that tire clag would've been resolved this year, for all the excitement of the race the clag issue is definitely having a negative impact where drivers are actually not attempting to pass in places they normally would. |
there was so much rubber wasn't there, its not even hot,if that makes a difference i am no expert, drivers are basically tyre management professors right now but it makes for exciting races really with kers and drs too which is the main thing,it fely like someone was going to crash big when they were all racing together, not sure how webber didn't flip over,it was a 50 metre wheelie he did

Yeah, anytime somone attempted a 'Normal' pass, not DRS induced, they would get into the rubber and it would spit them off the track. It really is unacceptable at this level of racing, and more people, not me, but F1 people should be more vocal about this and be doing something to address it. It was a problem last year, but this was the worst example of tire clag affecting a race that we've seen to date. And like you said, it was cold there. If all the passing is going to be relegated to DRS zones, then this is fake racing.
