Just watched the race a second time, it was crazy! I don't think I've ever seen a race like it. I really wish that tire clag would've been resolved this year, for all the excitement of the race the clag issue is definitely having a negative impact where drivers are actually not attempting to pass in places they normally would.

there was so much rubber wasn't there, its not even hot,if that makes a difference i am no expert, drivers are basically tyre management professors right now but it makes for exciting races really with kers and drs too which is the main thing,it fely like someone was going to crash big when they were all  racing together, not sure how webber didn't flip over,it was a 50 metre wheelie he did

Yeah, anytime somone attempted a 'Normal' pass, not DRS induced, they would get  into the rubber and it would spit them off the track. It really is unacceptable at this level of racing, and more people, not me, but F1 people should be more vocal about this and be doing something to address it. It was a problem last year, but this was the worst example of tire clag affecting a race that we've seen to date. And like you said, it was cold there. If all the passing is going to be relegated to DRS zones, then this is fake racing.

@pjams,well i don't think it was all drs zones but its better than all going round in a procession, having all the different elemenets and tyres is needed in formula 1,they can always change from season to season if things don't work out

How does the points system work? Is it 5 points for getting each right person but in the wrong position, 10 if they're in the right position, 20 for the winner and 15 for the retiree?

I've seen people get 5 points for a retiree, why is that?

yes you got it right ,you get 5 pts if your retiree retires and 15pts if its the first to retire like stoke got with schumi today,no other car dropped out today strangely

we will have to rein in these early pace setters, there is a long way to go luckily

Ahh thanks. Kudos for all the effort you are putting into this thread, it's great fun.

Just one more question, what does "P", "W" and "R" stand for in the points table?

1. Hamilton
2. Button
3. Alonso

DNF: Grosjean

Around the Network

1. Button
2. Hamilton
3. Schumacher

R: Kobayashi

Mercs should qualify ahead and it's nearly impossible to overtake on Bahrain, besides it seems their remaining tyre issues now are concerning too cold tracks, instead of the opposite which most would expect.

1 - Schumacher
2 - Rosberg
3 - Hamilton

R: Perez

@zuv

I know, I was just venting. It was a very exciting race, just frustrated by the way the clag effected the race.

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Webber

DNF. Button

1st- Webber
2nd- Button
3rd- Hamilton

DNF- Hulkenberg

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

w = winning our weekly game llike kowen did for china

P = 2nd or 3rd in our race results like rainbow and stoke did for china

r = retiree like stoke did for china

essentially they are tie breakers for people who have the same points tiebreakers go W,P & R and GP the more races the better
