Wow. Thank you Maldonado!
How does the points system work with retirees again? Why is it 25 / 10?

Placeholder for Malaysia:

1. Massa
2. Alonso
3. Hamilton

DNF. Vettel

it's 25pts if your DNF is the first car out and 10 pts if he doesn't finish

your maldonado is quite rare we only had 1 last season from the people who actually played all year for kowenicki

EDIT-actually make that 3 me and haxxiy got one too,lol

So we don't count Hulkenberg then?

DUDE SHHH.

I tried to use Google to find out who was out first but I couldn't find anything. I thought it was Hulkenberg too.

The official classifications put Hulkenberg in 22th, so technically he was the first retirement.

^^^^Hulkenburg didn't even start. He retired before the race got under way. Technically he was the first retiree.
Don't want to come across as dumb but...I am a bit puzzled by the points system.

I got 25pts for predicting Alonso > Kimi > Vettel. I got the first three correct and the third place correct with Vettel.
Hax got 25pts for the first three all in the wrong order.

Please, don't get me wrong, I don't want to change the rules or anything but I am struggling to see how Alonso Kimi Vettel equates to 25pts based on 25/15/15 place 5. Why do I have a 1 under wins?

Sorry to be so dumb.

I'll make my first prediction for the year when I see the qualifying. If I'm not allowed how about after practice 3?

Perfectly allowed, as long as you do it a few hours before the predictions are closed (Generally 2 hours before the race max?)

Placeholders for the next race (except dnf)

  • POLE: Hamilton
  • Fastest Lap: Raikonnen
  • 1st: Hamilton
  • 2nd: Raikonnen
  • 3rd: Webber
  • DNF: Van Der Gaarde

no need to be sorry,it's my made up points system:) query things as i don't always write things down correctly

hax got alonso correct in second,he got one right same as you did with vettel in third,

you both got 2 places each worth 5pts...................25pts for 1st correct,15 pts for 2nd or 3rd correct...........5pts for a place

you only got vettel right justinian, unless i wrote your prediction down wrong,

regarding wins, you, hax and brendude won the week, this acts as tiebreakers for the season to split people who might have the same points, you can check last years table to see in the front page

Malaysia Zuv  Proc  Bren Just Cone Hax Jonop
 1st   Hamilton Massa
Alonso

 2nd   Raikkonen Alonso
Hamilton

 3rd
Webber Hamilton
Raikkonen

 Retiree   Van der Garde Vettel
Vettel

 Score

***Hulkenberg didn't start the race, doesn't count if you don't start as its more fun to wait for the first crash/retirement in the race granted someone might not get off the grid but that is for this game,it was early did hulkenberg line up on the grid as i can't rememeber,i'll change it if he made it to the start line

i'll make the rule now,you have to line up on the grid to retire

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

i have just watched the start on the BBC highlights and while i admit you would be annoyed if you had hulkenberg,i'm going to make the rule you have to start the race/grid/pitlane whatever as it is more fun to watch,so lucky brendude

sorry if you don't like the system/pts guys, haxxiy walked out last year but came back,if you stick around you will get used to it:)

Thanks again.

I think the points system is great, can't really think of anything you should change about it.
