Very well thought, but I don't think I like or believe it. I don't know, it feels like ME where you have a galaxy with trillions of people and it always boil down to the same ones. While I believe writers are entitled to coincidences and such interweaving plots and characters, sometimes it goes too far.
By the way, what's your take on "there was a hole, it's gone now" or whatever the sentence was. Just curious :)

That was rather easy when you reply Silent Hill 1 and see a map of Silent Hill 1 and Silent Hill 2
First off here is the one from SH2
Where is it located?
in BAR Neely see this map , Notice where it is, keep in mind that Silent Hill from 1 and 2 are pretty different, PS1 > PS2 made silent hill 3 times bigger and changed a lot of stuff, but it's main design kept the same.
This is Silent Hill 2's map (part of it)
See where Neely's BAR is ?
here is a map of Silent Hill 1
okay now remember what happens when in Silent Hill 1 , When Harry wakes up after the "Nightmare" and meets Cybil , he wakes up at that exact Bar, but it wasn't closed down , it was open, and also had furniture and no newpapers on the windows.
Remember what happens when you pick up that radio? , thats right the glass breaks the one where the "There was a Hole Here..." in Silent Hill 1 , but its gone in Silent Hill 2 because they fixed it and closed the old bar,
good job pullus,i will have to re read it to fully get the plot jists again but i have played the all the silent hills on the PS/2/3
i love the SH2 letters and music and i am pretty sure sh2 was the first time i switched character to the little girl in a game,it was a good surprise for me,but maybe i remember wrong
edit actually i haven't played shattered memories which did come to the ps2 didn't it,never found it in my shops second hand

Yes, thats right, also my take on the closed is that they're are closed because Alyssa wants to control where the protagonists go , and to lead them to whatever she wants to show them
my other theory is that the developers are just too lazy to make a whole lot of pointless rooms :D (more than they are already) , the only thing i hate about the series is that there is a LOT of pointless rooms and doors that have nothing in them, but i guess that is the point of creating a clastrophobic atmosphere.

yes well you got that right, schools, hospitals, hotels with many rooms,i do love the silent hills though and they have moments i remember like the lift with the secret floor and voice that asks you questions and the room where you could look out the window and the door and notice things, the beginning credits of the room was ace too, very repetititve for some people i guess,i seem to remember in 4 jsut going down and down and down near the end, lol, but in the end with my 2x4 or lead pipe and bludgeoning monsters it gives me a satisfaction, not many games do

First off here...
Wow. I would never have realized it by myself. Congrats dude :) but it still raises questions since Laura supposedly wrote it, and I don't exactly buy the characters are psychopaths who hallucinate stuff.
