Good Idea.They also need to stop wasting time with IP's the fanbase has shown in majority not be interested in(Infamous). Sony's priority titles: Uncharted, KillZone, Resistance, and LittleBigPlanet have sold below there predecessor's with Uncharted 3 and LittleBigPlanetBig being worst offenders( Uncharted is a good distance from the original and LBP2 has not even seen half of LBP1 numbers.

Not mention more games and less movies will do Sony some good. movie games are only for graphic/tech whores which is a minority.broadening appeal is a must.

Sony and its studios main job is to sell PlayStation products and Sony needs to shift its studios focused with that as the highest priority.

Uncharted 3 is the best selling game in the series. I don't know where you're getting your facts


Killzone 3 is only tracking about 100k less than Killzone 3 and that's with the tragic effect of the PSN outage. (Look at KZ3's sales, it was enjoying 100k+ weeks until the PSN outage where it dropped hard and never picked up. If it wasn't for the PSN outage, I'm sure KZ3 would be tracking above KZ2.

Resistance & LBP are true though. That's why Insomniac & Media Molecule aren't developing any new games in the series for the time being.

He means that everything plays into Nintendo's hands. Not just what Sony is talking about here, but also yesterday's rumor that the Xbox Doublespin will not make a significant leap in processing power which leads him to believe that the Wii U will be roughly on par with Sony's and Microsoft's next consoles.

Oh. But why would he want that?

And you dont literally mean yesterdays news right? because those news came weeks ago.

This rumor was posted yesterday, that's all it means. I didn't check if it's actually older than that.

As for why Khuutra would want that, it's because he is a huge Nintendo fan and therefore wants the Wii U to succeed on a greater level than the Wii.

But he also has a powerful PC which means he obviously likes beautiful graphics.

Can u link plz to that news? Or is it the same "20% faster than the Wii U" that was posted weeks ago?

I don't have a powerful PC and neither do I own a 360 or PS3, but I like beautiful graphics too.

Now, what do you think of all this (X720 going all casual, Wii U copy tablet, poor hardware, Kenect build in, MS investing in family game development)? All going according to plan?

And what do you wish Sony will do? Follow MS or go powerful hardware and games for the core gamer?

No, because the most important company in the mix hasn't shown yet that they'll do what it takes to put Nintendo in the position of uncontested market leader. (That is Nintendo themselves, in case it isn't clear.)

Most of games they develop are pretty bad.

Motorstrom, Socom, Twisted Metal, Infamous, Killzone, Resistance... Those are average games that no one gives a damn about once the low sales.

They should focus in bring more franchises like Uncharted or God of War or GT because those are the only franchises they have wich are good enough to attract gamers. Well even GT has come downhill. They also have Team Ico but those will probsably be disbanded after Last Guardian or will make a game every 20 years.

Sony old days are miles behind them, they need a plan and throwing tons of games when 80% suck isnt the answer.

Meanwhile Nintendo Wii U is coming and Nintendo 1st party absolutely destroys Sony, in facts Sony 1st party looks so bad when compared to Old Nintendo. If Nintendo can give us hardcore games like N64 era on Wii U with beautifull FULL HD Graphics then no reason to ever own a Playstation Console again.

Metroid HD, Zelda HD, Mario HD, Super Smash... Damn, Vita and Next Gen Playstation are so fucked up, i wouldnt like to be at Sony right now, i would absolutely leave the company while i could.

Good luck but again thanks for the amazing Uncharted Series and God of War 3 this Gen

Sony is bound to come late to the party and don't have the first party it takes to offset a headstart of the competition. Third parties won't go through the trouble of making improved PS4 versions of their game for a small installed base, so if Sony decides to make a vastly more powerful console than Nintendo and Microsoft, then their system is going to be underutilized, because it isn't worth the effort.

Yes but I was asking what you would want to happen. But I think the answer is obvious (you're with Khuutra) so you can skip that one.

I think it's very sad. My last hope for next gen to be graphically powerful and hardcore is Sony to be bold and try the expensive hardware route again even if it's against all odds.
