Thats it, they had no back story at all. The rest were cool The Sorrow, The End, Ocelot, Volgin was no match for Liquid but he was crazy enough. The game was too easy for me to enjoy it.

I'll give you The Fury but I remember the fight against The Fear being a lot of fun.

So far this Gen Games that really got in my heart :

MGS4, Uncharted 2/3, Gears of War 1/3, BioShock 1, Mass Effect 1/2, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption. 

I´ve loved some more like Conviction with Sam looking for her daughter, remind me of The Taken (Movie). God of War 3 and some others im not remembering right now.

But yeah back on Topic : MGS4 freaking amazing!

You have to play God of War 3 bro,  I think you'll like that too :D.

As for Uncharted:
I prefer the simple nature of it, rather than Kojimas very unique and hardcore narrative. I do feel MGS4 > UC2 though, but UC3 managed to deliver beyond MGS4 for me with Nathans inner struggle with himself and the adventure was just too much for my weak heart to handle xD.

Right?! Gotta love the first person aspect when killing Poseidon XD MGS4 question to ya: Did you cry? XD I wept at the Naomi - Vamp part in Act 4 as Otacon was crying through Mk2 xD. What really made me die was the microwave chamber until the credits. And then I was so furious, so mad, so pissed off. Then it was all good again... Until: "This is good.. Isn't it?" :'D

That was enough for me since there were other bosses with interesting backgrounds. I'm guessing you hated the fights against the Beauties in MGS4 (I know I did).

I loved those fights (MGS4) too even though their background story was the same one repeated. The thing is that the bosses of MGS1 and 2 just spoiled me, I mean Psycho Mantis, Raven, Wolf, Ninja, God damn they were good!

Yeah that poiseidon (at the beginning) part is awesome, best start ever for a game thats for sure. Yeah i didnt cry there but i felt emotional, almost cried when i played MGS1 Part because that game was so huge on my life and also in the part of the Island i felt like "OMFG its MGS1 scene"!

The bosses (beauties) were a weak point for me. I loved mgs3's bosses but I rate the games pretty close together.
