PS3 is the leader console in Australia in 2011 and showed a great grow in sales (24% up).

360 just have a increase in sales when we talk about revenue with software, hardware and peripherals.

Sorry MS but that's seems PS3 won over 360 in Australia last year... try hard.

  • PS3 is he highest unit and value share in the industry (hardware, software, and peripheral, up 31%)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sold more on PS3 (the top-selling title for 2011 in Australia)
  • Wii sold 300k units in 2011
  • 3DS sold 255k units in 2011
  • 360 plataform sold 5% more than 2010
  • 360 was the top-selling console during the Christmas (December was the highest-selling month on record)
  • 360 is supposed the highest-selling console worldwide in 2011 (according to Microsoft, citing NPD US data - LOL).

its amazing you bring that up,yet you had no issue with MS giving away Xboxes for buying laptop in the Us or cellphone in the UK.

Actually, they did win. You can't dispute MS doing better in term of being profitable.

Wasn't the gamecube more profitable than the ps2 in a year or two? Cuz if I remember correctly, the ps2 was being sold at a loss, unlike the gamecube. Seece posted an article last year that showed this (I may be wrong though).

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Guess how I got my PS3?  free with a phone.... check my post history.

The UK phone market has that for all consoles.  Oh and guess what the deal on amazon was for vaio laptops last year... yep.. a free PS3, these all pale into insignifance to the Aus deal.

These types of deals are copmmon, but they are all small beer compared to the AUS Sony TV deal.  It is 14% of the ps3 "sold" there. 


So what, that's my point. At least they don't hide it. Everyone buys markeshare'. There was no need for your comment at all.

Console is undertracked in MEAA Alot.

Best Selling Game in Tawian was Kinect Sports, we know 360 sells good in Hong Kong and Now Australia/New Zealand. I doubt 360 is doing that bad elsewhere, Japan is other story since peole there are nacionalists.
