Forums - Website Topics - Will people stop rating games that aren't even out yet?

What's the use of rating games weeks or months before they're out, or if you haven't played them? The game database will become very innaccurate and loose all credibility if this goes on.

Let's do ioi a favour and not mess up his site by being childish.

sadly this wont stop because half the people here are fanboys who will vote down a game that they never played just because its on a different console.

PC gaming is better than console gaming. Always.     We are Anonymous, We are Legion    Kick-ass interview   Great Flash Series Here    Anime Ratings     Make and Play Please

Or make it possible that we can view the users who voted for a game.

The ratings are pretty useless Just cech out where Starcraft is.

That won't work since you can vote without being a member.

yeah its ridicouluos how can u rate something you don`t know?

N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!

bet with *no one yet* that the combined first week of Monster Hunter 3 in america and europe will be 600k or more! winner changes looser sig and avatar for two months!

We could reset the system and only let members vote and then see who voted and what score they gave it.

I'm of the opinion that the only way to prevent activities like this is to have a much more complicated voting system which takes into account a person's voting habits, and to display a person's voting statistics to shame them if they're voting down games on purpose; if a person had a record of voting on 100+ Wii games with an average score of 2/10 that would be somewhat embarrasing for them.
