I work in the bank as an audit officer.

Its an okay job, good experience for a recent grad.

The days of recent grads getting nice jobs straight out of Uni are long gone....

Kind of true... im 20 and i joined University this year, i took 1 year off...

I hope i can finish my grad and get a decent job but times are difficult...

Job hunt is hard.

Took me around 8 months to land a full time job related to my field.
This was in Canada, where the job market is much better lol.

So advice to new grads if your graduating this year, start looking NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of my ten closets friends who graduated with me, 3 are doing nothing, 2 are working at mcdonalds, 2 at a call centre and 3 are going back to school.

(lol sorry for yelling but I think anyone who has graduated recently agrees lol)

I do not like my job much and maybe back in the 90's I would have ditched it but in Todays you take what you can get.

I run a small car hire company.

why are they going back to school if they already gratuated ?

Well the general theme from experts is that if you cannot get a job, its better to continue learning then sitting at home.

One went to a college to get special training for a certain field and 2 are looking towards graduate school.

I was thinking about graduate school but I was thinking of becoming a Certified Financial planner instead and just rack up professional designations while working. I think its better to be working, learning, progressing towards something and finally having money to save and spend.
