I want it on the wiiU and am hoping it's not going to be a casual game that targets only young children and grandparents.

I don't think so. Mr. Miyamoto seems to be taking his new IP very seriously.

Ya I agree, that's why I do have confidence in him. We just need to wait and see...

FPS is my guess :D

If he's planning on filling in Nintendo's IP blanks, then a FPS would be my quess.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

It's hard to select wich one, i only have to say that if it is onde of that, but that is a great game i'll be happy.

Maybe it will be an FPS? Call me crazy, but Ocarina of Time was originally going to take place from a first-person perspective, until the time travel mechanic changed the game. It's a genre Miyamoto has not worked in before either, so creating a new franchise would be justifiable, as opposed to a new action-adventure game that could just be a Zelda spinoff.

I'm pretty sure he worked on Geist, which is an FPS, just an unconventional one

New IP could go both ways: New great Platformer, an epic RPG, awesome Action/Adventure, but at the same time, it could be just another Wii Fit

I hope the new IP isn't merely out of pressure.

That wouldn't end well.

Anyhow, if he does find the inspiration my wallet is ready.

I think for Nintendo the Prime Trilogy counts as FPS, so I don't think so. Also if they manage to get decent third party support it won't be neccesary. For example, Killer Freaks (FPS) and maybe Call of Duty will be there.

Racers, fighter, action-adventure, platforms or rpg won't be as there are enough games to cover those genres. It will be a genre they haven't do before but there aren't enough in the market.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
