TOKYO (Nikkei)--Nintendo Co. (7974) has sold 1 million copies of its Wii Fit exercise software as of Jan. 6, a little more than a month since the title's Dec. 1 release.

Nice. If it is shipped (likley) than next tommorow japanese data should show that it is still sold out as shipped. :o)

Ah who knows if it sold more. It has decent legs (Brain age legs) should reach 2-3 Million easily in Japan alone.

Hah. Wou would've thought? Definitely not some Leo-j's or other dodece's. So the game has become a resounding success, even with the higher price tag. Well done i say. It should reach 2 million copies sold by the end of it's life, but that's nly for Japan. WW i see it selling some 5-6 million.

You are worried about the US launch? I am worried about seeing WiiFit launch in Europe in 2010....

It will reach 2-3M in Japan this year, so lifetime will be a lot higher.
