Hey there guys!

my mobile is starting to die on me (LG GD510) and i need a new one. sadly, i am a total noob when it comes to Smartphones, so every advice is helpful.

i thought of getting something like the Xperia Arc S, the LG P990, the HTC Incredible S, or the Galaxy S plus, judging be the Design and pricing of them. (i tend to throw out about like 300€)

I'd need my phone for.. well, calls and messaging of course, but browsing (Is there flash on them? need U TUBE!) and taking Photo's is always awesome. (plus, i dont even know what there is else, i've never seen the Android store for example.)

So yeah... any Idea's which is the one to take? And do not recommend me an Iphone. i'd love to have one, but i wont support Apple's sick pricing.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Not sure how pricing with carriers and upgrades/contracts work in Germany... but if you can I'd go for either a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy II....

I have the G-Nex and love it.

If you need an older phone then I'd pick either the HTC or Samsung device in your list. Samsung due to screen tech and overall hardware and HTC for their version of Android UI along with better upgrade policies.

I think I remember you making a similar thread some time ago. Anyway, I didn't recommend any specific phone last time, but now without a doubt:

Samsung Galaxy SII or Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

Whatever you do don't get a Samsung phone because their support for the smart phones is complete garbage.

Either get a HTC Android/Windows phone or a Nokia phone.

I'm going the cool kid way and say iPhone 4S.
Fantastic interface, a ton of features, very powerful, and the best camera on a phone ever.

They better have a lens that can back that high of a megapixel density. Companies are just putting bigger specs without  improving the optics. Not saying that some like Galaxy S2 and Iphone 4S both have pretty good cameras but some are just going for the numbers. My 3.2 megapixel canon camera from 2004 smokes all the camera phones. I know totally different thing.

As other's said my pick would be Galaxy Nexus for android, Nokia lumia for windows phone and 4S...well for ios. Platform you've got to decide. Oh sorry didn't see the options. From those i like the HTC. They make solid handsets.

Happy texting. Since no one talks on phones anymore :)

I'd wait for the first Sony-only phone if I were you .. no Ericsson anymore , Sony Xperia Ion ( 12 MP Camera too )

As for me , mine is Galaxy S II and it's a wonderful phone , you can't go wrong with it.

Anything but iphone...come on people, enough is enough. Make apple work for that cash..

+1 Totally agree.

Nokia, Samsung, HTC and other companies make very good smart phones. Watch out for new Samsung, HTC, Nokia, Sony and Windoiws Phones that will give Apple a run for their money.
