The funny thing is, that even the high reviews say that the story sucks. Its seems acrossthe board that people didnt like the story, just like most didnt like it in 13, its a continuation so was anyone really expecting it to improve?? On the flip side they also say that the battle system got better, but to me that was never 13's biggest problem

Jim Sterling didn't like it. Gave it a 4/10, but the same editor-in-chief of the site (Dale North) loved it. Did an article later on about what was great about it.

but it wasn't an official review? I know plenty of misguided souls who liked FFXIII. What else is new?

But seriously.The defenses against FF XIII are desperate. Linking me to a head chief who liked XIII, or a 4.5 of AC2 review is not going to make me hate FF XIII any less.

Not really defending XIII though , I'm just making a point that reviews are more or less matter of opinion. I understand why you hate FF XIII .
