No, the iPhone is cannibalizing the iPod. The iPad has just finished eating netbooks and is moving on to bigger laptops.

No new iPod last year, just a slight price drop for the 4th gen Touch.

They also had a new color, White, as well!!! haha.

Anyway, it was the same for the Ipod Nano as well, some extra features added via software and a slight price drop, but otherwise the same as the 6th gen Nano. Overall iPod (and other PMP) sales are being eaten up by more people using smartphones and using them as personal music players instead of dedicated PMPs.

The odd thing is that Apple is not putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy their products, so if I buy a apple product, price is not going to come to my mind.  I dont understand why people dont get that.


I'll never understand how people can be content when they know they're being gouged for the products they buy. Oh well, it's not my money being burned, I've never purchased an Apple product since my Mac Classic computer.
