Two new job postings indicate possible new studios.

Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business and Microsoft Studios is driving entertainment industry wide change with Kinect for Xbox 360, our LIVE services and games, Windows gaming, and mobile gaming. Microsoft Studios (formerly MGS) is looking for a seasoned human resource professional to serve as a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) in support of two of our key internal studios, 343 Industries (responsible for the Halo gaming franchise) and Platform Next Studios (pioneering experiences on Kinect).

Is it Platform Next Studios this one is alluding to? Would this be a new studio?

Nevermind, just checked Wikipedia, under 2011 it states: 

"Microsoft Studios recruits for new development studios in Redmond - Microsoft Studios LEAP and Platform Next Studios."

But then isn't this old news?

MSFT needs to act fast with new studios. Their first party releases and exclusives have all but dried up.

Yeah and they need some new decent (Non kinect) Exclusives really bad! I used to think I should have brought an Xbox because they had some pretty awesome titles, but Man am I glad I went with my gut instinct and got the ps3 cause Xbox has really dropped the ball.

Rofl at Xbox dropped the ball.
I'm playing games like kinect sports, halo and forza. After playing the competitions exclusives recently im glad I chose 360. As a gamer for 20 years im not scared to say kinect sports season 2 is more fun than any competitors exclusives. Yes its more fun than uncharted, kill,one, halo and gears of war.

Not counting kinect games in everyones silly hardcore gamer lists is silly and extremely shortsighted.
Really looking forward to star wars kinect.
360 is in its best time ever. Great controller games and great motion games.
Fun is the reason we play.

As a 360 owner I have plenty of awesome non kinect games that im currently playing and will play this year. Imo its better having kinect alongside them. I'm really stoked for mass effect 3, Alan wake American nightmare, halo 4, bioshock infinite, star wars kinect and fable journey to name a few. Am I missing out? Hardly. Diverse? Hell yes. Kinect deserves praise and attention. Some of its experiences and pure fun is unmatched.
