I'll on my 2 cents only because I don't understand what people see in make-up.

When ever I see make-up on a girl, I think of them as clowns. Young women cover up their beautiful young face to paint on a new one; a cosmetic unreal looking face. The powdery foundation, painted eyebrow, and large dark eyelashes looks all so fake and unattractive, I just can't stand to look at it for a very long time.

So my point is: If you see a girl's face covered up with make-up, she may be hiding something more than an ugly face. (By the way, I would prefer an semi-ugly imperfect face to one that is dressed up like a clown)
