Forums - Gaming - ME3 plus kinect = win

http://www.gamezone.com/previews/mass-effect-3-kinect-impressions-xbox-360

There’s no question that Mass Effect 3 is one of the most highly anticipated games this year.  But now there’s a major advantage to getting the Xbox 360 version – Kinect integration.  And we don’t mean the kind of cheap integration with shoddy motion controls and the kind of targeting that makes it feel like a second-rate Child of Eden.  Bioware wouldn’t dare take such a second-rate route.  Instead, it has put together a system that blends vocal commands with the traditional gameplay that fans have come to know and love.

watch the video - looks really fun.

Everything of does stuff you can just do with one simple click... And why the need of kinect when this can be done with a headset?

Developers have already answered this question. Kinect has built-in voice dedection software (a great one at that). It is so much simpler to use Kinects existing software than to build one from scratch, wich would cost time, money and resources. Not to mention extra space on the disc.
