I dont really go for the medals, only the ones that fit my playstyle.  I kind of figure if i get them itll just happen in the next few years of playing because honestly some of those medals are just ridiculous lol If anybody actually gets the seriosly 3.0 achievement legit, then WOW is all I have to say lol

Same here.  I won't get all of the weapon ones, maybe just one, and I'll get the beast, horde, and a few of the campaign ones, but I won't get much past 30 by the end.

I have a few friends that plan on getting the 3.0 achievement.  I think it required  a legit 1200 hours to get that which would be 150 days of 8 hrs a day.... and since that isn't possible, 3 and a half hours for an entire year?  Blah.  And that still assumes you're doing everything to get them.  What a stupid achievement!  Seriously 1.0 wasn't hard at all, I'd have gotten it if I didn't get Gears 2 first.  Seriously 2.0 was too much because the way most people got it was from playing the Brumak rodeo 100 times over.  I finished Gears 2 with 60,000 something kills... but still would never play that part in the campaign over and over.  But this achievement of Seriously 3.0 is probably the hardest I even know of.

I had both Gears 1 and 2 but was late to the party so never got in the multi, I am gonna play 3 till I reach the
re-up lvl cap and check out where I am on the medals and decide than if I'm going for seriously 3.0,

In my opinion Gears 3 is way better than the first 2, and that is saying a lot because I loved the first one.  Second one was ok.  The reason I like this one so much is because it is so well balanced besides the retro lancer which still is a bit over powered but itll eventually get fixed.  Just re-uped today, lvl 20 again :)  Need any tips I'll try to help
