I'll assume the animation is better in Samurai X since that's a movie.  The difference is pretty much Samurai X is very serious.  Kenshin (From the first episode I watched) is a comedy (I'll assume there's serious parts as well).

You should watch the regular series, its great, especially once you get to the Kyoto arc (ep 28?). But once that arc's over the rest is all filler that you can just not watch. I like the regular series more than Samurai X personally.

Also no Rurouni Kenshin isn't a comedy. It just has some comedy like most Shonen. Samurai X is more serious and violent.

Does the show completely change after the first episode?  Cause I laughed as much in the first episode as I did in Ramen Fighter Miki.

Yeah! Tokuchi is really badass and cool... one of the best characters I have seen on any anime genre... You must read the manga...  on chapter 82 continues just where the Anime stoped.. such a shame the anime doesn't have a second season... the Manga was on hiatus when the anime aired and began again to serialize... 

 

Since sometime ago I have pending Liar Game, from the same mangaka... not sure if read the manga or watch the doramas first...

 

PD: I fansubed One Outs into spanish some years ago :) my first anime translation so is kinda secial anime for me...

 

Edit: I think He looks more like Yôichi Hiruma from Eyeshield21 than Hisoka from HxH.. but stilllooks like that a lot xD

Great manga. Just found that I only read the first one, 72 chapters. It can be a very good 40 to 50 episodes. I don't see a reason why this shouldn't be an anime already. Maybe because it's not a Japanese manga?

 

I only have two problems with this manga, one of them might be solved in the second season (127 chapters and still going). The first one is the hard Korean names. I'm not used to them. Especially when the translator thought I'd be familiar with Korean words (like they do when they keep "sense" instead of translating it to teacher). The second problem is Shiho death! Just died like unknown and unimportant character! Just forgot about her! How can you that? especially with the way she died!

I really recommend this manga, I loved this more than History Strongest disiple: Kenichi (Which I think is a very good manga).

Because is Korean? Really rare to see a manwha adapted to Anime if is not being published on Japan like was Shin Angyô Onshi (had a Movie and the manga is pure AWESOMENESS EPIC! a MUST READ!), Kurokami and freezing (these two from the same authors..)

 

Other Martial Arts manwha i recomend:  Girls of Wild (decent and fun, full color webcomic) and Veritas (pretty good but with a bad ending with a promised second season since two years ago).

 

And from japan You must read: tough!

Something i could probably google quickly, but i'll ask here: Ghost in the Shell Arise has been released, right? I'm about to "finish" One Piece (quotes for the long, boring story on why i'm finishing on episode 166 when i've seen everything after 166 already), and want to hit up Arise quickly before moving on to Yuru Yuri
