lol. Toradora isn't Shoujo.
@ Blacksaber
Saw that. I was surprised you hadn't seen it. Due to the news, I added S2's OP to my signature. It's pretty great.

What is it then? lol

High School Romance. Shoujo is really only a supergenre (super in the sense of it covers many genres, a genre "class" if you will), which can denominate into magical girls or romance or what have you, but Shoujo, like Shonen, is about intended audience, much like you have the anime Madoka which definitely is a Magical Girl anime but definitely isn't Shoujo

Oh I see, a shoujo is an anime/manga which should be enjoyable only by girls (with some exceptions), while Toradora has a much greater audience right? Well anyway it has been an amazing series, I did not feel so sad for finishing an anime since Code Geass (and maybe Steins;Gate).

Originally was intended for female audience.. but since 90's the line between Shoujo and Shounen has been being blurred... I personally Love Shoujo Anime/mangas as Shounen... Skip beat, Nana, X-1999, Perfect Girl Evolution, Chihaya Furu, Ouran Host Club and Sailor moon ( i recommend you all those but the most Skip beat! XD) all those are shoujo mangas that are really funny to watch!
Nowaday on a recent survey, was determined that arround the 40% of One piece fans are females and that rate gro on others "shounen oriented" mangas/anime like Gintama or FullMetal alchemist... So for who are being intended doesn´t matter anymore... Just classify it by it's subgenre ;)
And code:geass is a action/mecha anime which character designs were made by CLAMP, the queens of Shoujo manga on 90's and the first on blurr the line between Sounen and Shoujo audience with mangas like X-1999, Card Captor Sakura, chobbits and Angelic Layer...
