So I wanted to make a list of anime to buy at Anime North come May. So far I have 1. Naruto S2, 2. Dragon Ball Kai S2 3. Dragon Ball GT 4. Ouran Highschool Host Club 5. Fairy Tail S1. Any other suggestions? I was thinking of Persona 4, but I'm not sure if I should finish the game first (I've had quite a big backlog of games to get through on my Vita). I would really recommend just ordering anime off of Amazon. It'll be cheaper and you won't have to deal with the dealers at cons (lack of return policy, no QC in regards to whether it's beaten up, etc, and the general terrible of the quality of vendors).

There's actually a certain vendor that sells cheap.  Like really cheap.  I was gonna look there.  Plus if I buy anime it'd keep myself from buying other things.  I actually bought a small Master Sword and Hylian Shield from a weapons vendor last year. 

Well, none of the conventions I've been to sell anime at reasonable prices. You can generally find ok priced manga though.

You're right, though it's specifically one dealer.  They just sell discounted anime.  I got Yu Yu Hakusho season 2 & 3 bluray for 25 bucks each.

You really don't realize how cheap is then. This is the standard price.

Just finished it as well..I hope she gets Mao...I mean she is cute as hell and isn't exactly the meek type..she stands her ground. I like her :D 

man I am fighting the urge to go read the manga now...almost did it last week but persisted somehow hmm

oh yea I loved the line "what kind of demon lord doesn't trouble the hero!?" hahah well said

What the heck is going on with D. Gray Men. Seriously not a single chapter this year.

Same. It was quite good.

I also started Photokano and I really love it. Can't quite describe why, but it has a great cast.

Ya, the series just seems weirdly released now. Not to metion a while back there seem to be a dramatic change in art too.

Glad im not the only one to notice that, it seems to have gone down in quality lately.

You should try

Sword Arts Online-some people are pretty divided on this one, I personally enjoyed it

Macross Frontier+Movies-really nice soundtrack and series is good too. You can just watch the two movies though, they cover the whole story and have better animation then series.

Blood+-fantastic, one of my favorites

Mahou Shoujou Madoka-don't let the art fool you, it gets really good

Umineko no Naku Koro ni-good horror and mystery

ahh I'm watching those two too, just saw ep 3 of mao and was suprised at the ending.

I agree, both are good.  Shingeki no Kyojin, Hataraku Maou-sama, Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru, and Suisei no Gargantia are at the top of my list right now.  Yuyushiki is turning out to be a pretty funny slice of life anime, as well.  Mushibugyo might have some potential, I'm not sure yet.  Photo Kano is surprisingly good for a dating sim anime.

As for continuing anime, Chihayafuru is the best thing airing right now, and rapidly becoming one of my favorite anime ever.
