I have a two year replacement plan, but there are no 60g's left, and I don't want all of my saved data to be gone.

If it's a launch console, te warranty has been extended to Jan. 15. Sony will send you another 60gb as a replacement.

Ah, man. That sucks. Another reason why Sony gets a big "f***you" pointed in their direction... You can't even get an equally-equipped model anymore.

Depends my good man. How long have you been playing your PS3 that day? I had some freezes in the beginning when I bought it. But none now.

You've probably playing too long that it heats up. Or keeping your PS3 non-stop folding when youre away. Seriously, man stop doing that folding unless you want your electrical bill to sky rocket.

Usually when the PS3 heats up it activates an auto-shut down to prevent a 360-esque death.
