Forums - Sales Discussion - NPD Dec: X360 #1, 1.7m, 900k - 1m Wii, PS3

So now what? Hastily change back the numbers again? This is why I keep getting estranged from this site. MS spills some figures out at the CES and VGC changes the numbers instantly. Just wait till everyone has their numbers out and then you don't run into this embarassing situation...

Weird, how can we be so undertracked in Europe????

We have french numbers that were given us by Nintendo that pretty much shows it being a little bit overtracked as well.

Edit: Given this new information isn't 100% proof.

For now a just a weird number...

VG charts has it about right with 64.9.  You figure MS has Shipped 66.5 (I know people are stilldebating that but MS has always stated their shipped number as sold)  so standard inventory for MS is about 1 million units give or take a little.  Really VG charts is probably still a little low but close enough.

That must have been a typo! It's the same number as November...

The 360 did 1.7m last month. Doubt very much it did less then November in the busiest month of the year.... Just for example in 2010 it did 1.2m in Nov and 1.9m in dec, 2009 it did 810k in nov and 1.3m in dec.

There is no chance in my opinion it was anywhere under 2m based on previous years increases. I'd hazard a guess that guy is just fishing for hits to his twitter.

numbers seems strange
