PSP will never beat DS, even though i love my PSP and dislike the DS i admit that the DS is more appealing to more people i just like the multi-media aspect of the PSP.

Nintendo released the Nintendo DS in 2004 which would mean that the earliest they will release a successor would be 2009. I personally don't expect a new system until 2010 when Nintendo can take advantage of a similar architecture to the Gamecube/Wii (making their tool production easier) and when they can use a multi-touch display (or some other dramatic enhancement over the current touch screen).
