They're buying weapons just because Turkey buys them, what Greece fails to realize is that Turkey is on a far higher level and can justify to buy weapons. Greece should stop comparing herself with Turkey and realize its only a little country, little countries should just be nice, its like Cuba measuring dicks with the USA.

Cool. Not an unexpected response from you.

I still prefer to occasionally go to Greece on my holidays....

Nah, I'd rather go to Turkey especially with the highly devaluated Turkish lira right now.

My worst holiday was in Turkey, Greece was my 2nd best

Greece is in a crysis and will be in debt to Germany for years to come but it's still a fact that the Greeks have received much much more from Germany and the rest of EU than what German companies and banks have earned from contracts and loans to Greece.

Many billions of Euros from European tax-payers have also been invested in Greek roads, infrastructure and museums that are built with money from EU's structural funds and most of the huge debt Greece has will be written off and never be paid back (that's what bailout means). And Greece is still a net receiver of EU subsidies.

All this because the German and French leaders are pushing their dream of a United States of Europe.

I truly love Greece as a nation and culture but it's wrong that tax-payers in Northern Europe have to provide for such an economically irresponsible nation. Especially as its part of the strategy to create the United States of Europe.
