Yeah, PS3 will have outsold the 360 WW again. it's by a small number (how long would it take to catch up 60k at a time?) but it's still a victory that is outside the margin of error. Japan is where the victory is coming from though, so in a few weeks when japan has normalized that lead may diminish considerably putting it in a dead heat within margins of error. We'll just have to see where the PS3 goes to in Japan in the next month or so. I doubt it will be over 20K a week though once things settle down.

There are barely ads, the ps3 still cost more than the Xbox 360, the 08 games arent coming out till Q3-Q4.

No surprise here, Wii beats the rest, PS3 still strong considering it has no great games, 360 still second with AAA games.....pathetic. Wii will beat all for the rest of the gen.

It has been the same here in the UK, all apart from the Wii... A woman i was speaking to in a store today (asking about the DS) said that they have had Wii's in stock since pre-xmas and that interest is falling for the console, i wonder if this trend will continue...

Big drop for PS3.  Will fall further worldwide next week given that Spain's big numbers will drop off.

Remember that the PS3 got a big boost in Spain this week because of their tradition of giving gifts on January 5th...

Take that away next week (46k in Spain alone this week) and things are still slightly in the 360's favor.

In any case, I don't think either console will gain or lose any marketshare worth noting over the next few months.
