Nothing too surprising as the numbers begin to normalize, wii continues to dominate along with the DS. It doesn't look good for MS though. Even though it's still twinning out over the underperforming PS3 in the US, it's not trouncing it hard enough. Looks like the PS3 may start to consistently sell more than the 360. I guess we'll have to wait til the Japan numbers fall back to a normal state though. If the PS3 goes back to 12-20K a week in Japan, it may just stay at a dead heat.

PS3 will outsell the 360 by 60k this week.

I still think the PS3 is doing okay, even though things picked up a little bit, after the whole media was against it :|

After the holidays these numbers are just boring, not that I still don't like them.

i thought ps3 was going to sell more, it seems that troubles start to appear again for ps3

wth with ps3 in US ? how can't it outsell the 360 with
brand + new price + Uncharted + 08 lineup + hardware quality + massive number of ads ?

I think that as the numbers normalize the PS3 and 360 should stay around the same number each week, but with Japan getting some games on the system this year that they will want i do see the PS3 making a lead ahead of the 360!

Games such as UT3 are yet to be released in the UK so this should make a nice difference to the PS3 numbers in the region too :D

I'm surprised Wii even has that many. The store my son works at hasn't seen a shipment since pre-Christmas. They are still out of everything (Wiis, DS, controllers, Wii Play). It's not a small store either, it's a major electronics store.
They are also out of 360's except a few arcades. As for PS3s, they sold 15-20 over the Christmas season and have 100+ still in stock.

I wasnt expecting ps3 to drop this low in NA.
