Most Analysts don't know their foot from their ass, really need an obvious trend to be happening before they comment.
Don't think we can judge how 3DS is going to fare this generation until at least next xmas.

The reason I believed that the 3ds was a rippoff, was that my son already had DSxl. After he started playing the 3ds, i looked at it and the screen was so small, and the 3D seemed week. Just a gimmick. I don't bother with the handheld systems, as I don't normally get enough time to play them. The closest i get to a handheld is my iphone or ipad.

Depends what game he was playing or what angle you looked at the screen to view the 3D. I think the 3D is perfect for the 3 games I own and it really does add something. The thing about the screen: when I play my 3DS the 3D aspect makes me feel like I'm looking at a huge screen, because it pulls you into the game so much you feel like you're actually there. The 3D can be a gimmick or it can be a lot of help and graphical enhancement with certain games.
