Sony.

The whole company is doing horrible. Their latest gaming system, PSVita, is doing terrible, and they're selling it at a loss. I don't know why Sony keeps selling systems at a loss, but I guess it's another one of those 'make a profit in ten years' plan. They really can't afford to drop the price, but it might be their only option at this point to bring up sales.

Vita currently has no system sellers, and it doesn't look like it'll get one anytime soon. Monster Hunter, which was one of the biggest series for the PSP, is coming out for the 3DS; sure, MH4 might come out for the Vita a few months after the 3DS version has been released, but many who were looking forward to MH4 may have already bought the 3DS version. Also, many of the Vita's popular games are also on the PS3 (a system that is cheaper and has a way better library than the Vita). Sony really dropped the ball with the Vita.

Anyway, I agree with the majority and say "Sony", from a financial standpoint. From a "who randomly stops making consoles" standpoint, I'd say Microsoft.

Yeah Microsoft will probably sooner or later just stop, afterall their company isn't just videogames (so is Sony's but you know what I'm getting at.)

Sony. And this is based on nothing.

Sony isn't going anywhere. If they do, the gaming industry is in trouble. They easily have the best hardware....the reason for it's price. They have some of the best games this gen as exclusives and are consistently driving the business forward. Nintendo is great at advertising and coming out with gimmicks, on the games front they have sucked as of late. I am pretty much done seeing Mario. Microsoft took what Sony had with the PS2 and the Ps3 and improved upon it with the Kinect. That said, it too will get old and people will move right back to a standard controller. Sony took a loss this time around for a number of reasons, some of which no one could have anticipated. They did however come out with a console using technology they will more then likely incorporate into the next version. This will keep their profits high while allowing devs to make games for relatively cheap. Sony will end up making the most money and selling the most consoles once the new versions come out.

People still are eating up Nintendo's Franchises, though! (me included.)

ThePs3News: I really like your sig images XD

OT:

None of the big 3 anytime in the next ten years if I had to make a guess... But I'll say Sony, just for giggles.

I dont think its to late for the Vita just yet. Sony needs to desperately get some games for it though. They also need to try to make the Vita sound like a much better option over the 3DS since the price difference is $80.

But they really need a "out of the park" exclusive game to bring the Vita back up. Hopefully FF X remake comes soon. :)

FFX is also coming to the PS3 though, and the price difference is more than $80 when you take the mandatory memory cards into account.

I think kaz is refering to overal deficit like research and development and marketing. Vita will be sold with a profit

Nintendo - No chance. The company is purely based on video games.

Sony - Possible. Recent financial troubles could mean bad news for Playstations future.

Microsoft - Possible. Look at the direction they are taking the Xbox 360. Seems like they are trying to move away from video games and into the home media center type of thing.

This has been MS' goal from the very beginning. They got into gaming just so they could hold Sony back from doing it themselves.
