They have some of the best games this gen as exclusives and are consistently driving the business forward. Nintendo is great at advertising and coming out with gimmicks, on the games front they have sucked as of late. I am pretty much done seeing Mario. Microsoft took what Sony had with the PS2 and the Ps3 and improved upon it with the Kinect. That said, it too will get old and people will move right back to a standard controller. Sony took a loss this time around for a number of reasons, some of which no one could have anticipated. They did however come out with a console using technology they will more then likely incorporate into the next version. This will keep their profits high while allowing devs to make games for relatively cheap. Sony will end up making the most money and selling the most consoles once the new versions come out. |
