A Disney newsletter has seemingly accidentally confirmed a sequel to last year’s Epic Mickey, Gameinformer.com reports. While traces of the information itself in the final newsletter have been removed, StitchKingdom.com managed to get a look at it prior to this.

Here’s what it’s supposed to have said:

“Disney Epic Mickey 2 is the latest game in the critically acclaimed DisneyEpic Mickey videogame series. In this all-new action-platforming game available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, Mickey embarks on an epic journey and is pulled back into a world filled with Disney’s forgotten characters. Players can choose to play single-player as Mickey or for the first time players can also choose 2-player split screen mode. In the 2 player mode one person can play as Mickey wielding magic paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world and the second player can play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit – Walt Disney’s first cartoon star – with the power to fly like a helicopter and use electricity to fight or friend enemies and solve challenges. Team-up and choose your path to save this forgotten world because the choices you make will alter the story and change the end of the game!”

The original Epic Mickey was released on the Nintendo Wii in November 2010. It was developed by Deus Ex creator, Warren Spector, and his team, Junction Point Studios. The game sold about 1.3 million copies by the end of the year.

Well, its not your fault but this was leaked months ago( I remember because I posted it).. why is siliconera just now getten this?

I hoped for "More Epic Donald", but a direct sequel is okay as well. The original sold 2.5 million up to now. There's plenty of possibilities in this franchise.

Certainly the 2D platforming was the most flawed. Floatiest junk i've ever dealt with. I enjoyed that game on the whole, but the classic-toon sidescrolling levels were the biggest bit of squandered potential throughout
