Forums - Gaming - super smash brothers brawl pal release

Well that sucks but apparently we in PAL Regions are used to it, look what they did with Super Paper Mario... And there are plenty other examples

I don't get why it takes so long for those countries who speak english, isn't it the same as US.

but it sounds right pal is always about 4 months after the ntsc

Yup. Sometimes even six months, like with FFXII. (I think).

With games like FFXII, Super Paper Mario, Pokemon and RPGs in general, it's understandable. SSBB doesn't have all that much text to translate though, Nintendo please give us the game!!!

P.S: If the game gets a late 08 release for PAL who's up for a petition to Nintendo? 50k+ signatures could do something, hopefully...

Yeah, you may be right! But in most cases, Japanese are tired of the games already before we in the PAL region even get them... It sucks, but let's hope for the fans that it won't be as far away as fall '08!

i think we all expected this.

i have never played to a smash bros game, but i looking foward to him as I was for SMG.

I don't think you have to worried about the game being old 4 months after the US release. This game will be played for the duration of wii's lifespan. This game will be played online for the next 4-5 years before online players become scarce.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I was talking about games in general. Like FFXII, where the Japanese have had time to play through it 100 times before we get it.

Glad to be in America (even with George Bush) ^_^

We're screwed again, yay!
In the meanwhile at least we can play Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes.

You won't have to fret about that dope for much longer now! How's the election btw? New Hampshire decided yet? Obama is doing quite well it seems, either way you'll probably end up with an historical president! (First black or female).
