Now that 3DS haz Zelda and Mario, if 1 of these series would make comeback, I would buy it:

Advance Wars

Megaman/Zero game

Castlevania

Final Fantasy Tactics

Golden Sun (lol)

I've said one since launch, but I would love to see new installments on 3DS for Skies of Arcadia, Ogre Battle, 2d Castlevania, mainline DQ, Okami, Advance Wars and Final Fantasy Tactics. Then the 3DS would have one of the best lineups of any plaform IMO.

The most likely game that would persuade me is a Donkey Kong 64 remake. Used to play that a holiday club, the downside being there was always some bad child who deleted the most progressed save filed, ruining it for everyone. Like a chance to play it uninterrupted on a more advanced system. Probably would end up with Super Mario 3D Land and Legend of Zelda as well, if Donkey Kong came out.
