Uncharted 2 received more awards than all of the MW games combined. Uncharted 3 remained true to it's roots and brought one of the best multiplayer experiences ever,being nominated for GOTY,and winning a whole bunch of other awards,more than any MW game has.

The first MW game,COD4,is the only game worth talking about out of the 3.The other 2 are simple copies with a worse storyline,same graphics and slightly upgraded multiplayer.

You keep saying that they are ''even'',when you clearly stated in your previous post that Modern Warfare is ''miles better'' than Uncharted.

I personally dont see the appeal to these Uncharted games, just generic 3rd person shooters theyre all the same. Mario Karts unique.

Say what? Uncharted is far from being generic, there arnt even that many third person shooters around anymore. 

Thats because FPS games are better shooters than Third Person thats why, but Uncharted is definitley generic, not that its a bad game what it does it does well, but all it basically is, is a copy of Gears of Wars shooting mechanics and the climbing of Assassins Creed wrapped up in pretty graphics and with likable characters.

But as its own thing, its nothing new at all, it just did what it did well. Still i dont see the appeal to it at all, from what ive seen its just a very straight forward game where you run and shoot, climb, cutscene.

"Oh look we have to go through that door, but of course you can never simply go through a door in any of these games so go climb around the long way to lower a rope for us to get through". Is all that these games are.

There are no FPS games on PS3 that are better than the Uncharted series. It having similar shooting mechanics to Gears of War does not make it a ripoff, Uncharted game out before Assassins Creed so it most certainly didnt rip that off either.

Most shooting games are simply just shooting and crap cutscenes. Uncharted has shooting, good cutscenes, climbing aswell as likable characters and a decent story something very few FPS games have.

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare trilogy is miles better than the Uncharted trilogy for one.

Yeah tell that to metacritic and Call of Dutys pitiful user score.

The user score doesnt mean squat.

COD4 - 94 Uncharted - 88

MW2 - 94 Uncharted 2 - 96

MW3 - 88 Uncharted 3 - 92

COD average - 92

Uncharted average - 92

So yeah going by metacritic Call of Duty is just as good as Uncharted, though at least Call of Duty is its own thing.

The opinions of the people playing these games are incredibly important. Besides what you just showed just proves theyre even, not miles better. Yes COD4 was better than Uncharted, but Uncharted has won out the past two games now and will surely continue to do so. Uncharted 2 won GOTY, Uncharted 3 was nominated. Nothing for COD though.

I played the demo, ive seen the reviews. If i said something wrong then feel free to correct me on it.

Okay. From the start.

"copy of Gears of Wars shooting mechanics"  Had this discussion enough when the first Uncharted was released, we established Gears didn't invent the cover system and just because a game uses a cover system doesn't make it exactly like Gears.

"and the climbing of Assassins Creed" That is a new one. I will give you credit for creativity. Too bad they released at the same time, one could argue Assassins Creed was a ripoff of Uncharted. But they shouldn't. Because it's stupid.

You don't have to like the Uncharted games. It's okay to not find them fun. Just lay off some of this ridiculous reasoning.

It is no arguement because FPS shooters are better than Third Person shooters, all the best shooters everyone knows, COD, Goldeneye, Half Life, Halo, Portal, Crysis etc they are all FPS games. What good Third Person shooters are there besides Uncharted and Gears of War?

Even if Uncharted didnt ripoff Assassins Creed it certainly ripped off Tomb Raider with, its treasure hunting, shooting, platforming gameplay.

I just said i did play the demo....

Mario Karts a driving game, all you can do is drive but at least it was original. Uncharted is just a modern day Tomb Raider. Ive seen people play Uncharted plenty times, its always the same, for example in Uncharted 3 what i saw someone play the other day, you enter a room theres a door but of course theres a conviently placed wooden beam infront of it, so of course now you have to climb up around, lower chandliers, push the beam to get through the door.

You get to the ghost town in the desert, theres a big door in front of you but noooo you have to go around the side, climb up, go down the well, go through the cave, climb back up all to get inside. Thats how it always is.


Okay... so because there are a lot of high profile FPS games, it means any TPS game is automatically inferior? Ridiculous. Anyway, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Mass Effect, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Splinter Cell, Tom Clancy games, SOCOM, Dead Space - the point is moot regardless.

Mario Kart wasn't the first racing game made. Many were made before it. Calling Uncharted a Tomb Raider copy would be the same as calling Mario Kart a rip off of all those previous racing games. They may be similar, but they do more than enough to create their own identidy. 

Your other problems with the game, I think shouldn't even be addressed until you actually play the game. 

MGS, GTA, RDR are not "just" third person shooters. Thats not what people think of when they think of those. But you're right about a few of the others.

So any realistic TPS adventure game is automatically a Tomb Raider rip-off?
If ripping off a game means to improve over that game in all possible aspects and create one of the best games ever,then I hope all games to be ripped-off.

Oh so CODs scores are paid for but Uncharted games are so very fair and honest. How very convient for you. Uncharted was a inferior game to COD4 even if it had multiplayer.

You say the other two are copies of COD4 but what Uncharted 2 and 3? if you take away the multiplayer from those games they are no different than the original, youre still running from point A to B while shooting enemies behind cover, then going from point B to C by climbing a very linear path only to watch cutscene D then revert back to A.

Uncharted 3 added nothing new to its single player, thats why its reviews are worse. Uncharted 3's single player was inferior to the second games at least MW3 was an improvement over its previous game.

It is better theres no denying that, ones a immensly popular franchise that gets hated it for it, the other is a exclusive. The fact that MW games are even equal to Uncharted is saying alot. Sales dont lie, people buy whats best and COD outsells Uncharted 5 to 1.

Any TPS adventure game involving a sexy main character who hunts for treasure while shooting enemies along the way and climbing platforms is a ripoff of Tomb Raider yes. Assassins Creed is a TPS adventure game thats nothing like Tomb Raider. Uncharted may be better than Tomb Raider, but its still an obvious ripoff. 

Even Elena looked exactly like Lara Croft originally.
