Forums - Sony - Bossa Studios head says Vita will die “horrible premature death”

I love the walled garden. More focus on single player on a single platform because I hate people and therefore hate playing games with people and socializing with people. (not sarcasm btw)

Vita is on the verge or release so I guess it's time for some sensational headlines.

Bossa is talking about all console manufacturers, though it's hard to take anything named "Bossa" seriously.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

The reason consoles are more open is because it would open them up to piracy.
The reason there is no cross platform play with PS3 and 360 is because Microsoft and Sony are competition.

No, the Vita will not have a premature death. I highly doubt it will be as successful as the PSP but it should be a moderate success and compete with the 3DS.

The PSV has one hell of an uphill struggle, especially now 3DS has MH for the moment. I don't think anyone can be serious about a 'premature death' however.

In that interview the guy is hating on all consoles, including PS3 and 360. He says they will ALL have a horrible premature death if they don't all go cross-platform in the future.

From the article: "If this is not the motto for the big console manufacturers, not only will we not be there – they're likely to die a horrible premature death"

He's trolling like a mofo.

It's worked for MS & Sony so far, and quite honestly, 100% pure interoperability is not good for the industry IMO.

Yeah I agree on this, the sales wont be as strong, Sony ran out of luck on this, if Capcom had released MH3 for the PSVita as a launch title, they would of made hella lot money.

True but it wouldn't be enough. I think Vita will be fine in Japan - I just can't see the rest of the world getting on board, especially the massive DS audience that it seemingly already upgrading to 3DS.

Wow, this article is terribly biased. He did not point out the Vita as dying a premature death. He said that as a general statement to ALL console manufacturers. His reason being that he thinks it is silly of them to not have gamer access between consoles and being closed off from each other.

I do have to say that I wish platforms were more open. I'd love to play multiplayer games cross-platform. Will not having inter-accessibility eventually hurt and kill these console manufacturers? I don't think so, but I do see in things changing in the future to be more open.

"He did not point out the Vita as dying a premature death"

well actually he did ( in his opinion )

"which I think the Vita will suffer from"

ot well its his opinion we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out, for me though it looks like a very appealling gadget

Read my next sentence. >_-

I was saying that he wasn't specifically singling out the Vita like the article suggests. He used it as an example, but his statement was with regards to all console manufacturers. The article is extremely misleading..

bit harsh.

however he did steel my idea. I have been saying it for along time before golden eye was remade.

cross platform comp wii controller v ps3 controller war of the motion techs.. The game would have sold more purely because fanboys would want to beat each other.
