Wonder how long till we get gameplay...

I wish they could leave filmmaking to Hollywood. I hate what's happening to HD gaming. If I buy a game I want to play a good video game, not being forced to artificially press some buttons to be allowed to watch scenes from a movie. |
it's called an artistic vision, and having any vision is the difference between success, and failure, but you new that.
OT: a connection with the gamer and charcter is very important, but the relationship between 2 characters co exsisting in the same environment is even more i'm portant, cause without each other, neither one would survive.
Ueda anyone?

lolwut, story driven games have been around for awhile. Heck I mean the only none story driven game that comes to mind right now, not the only game but it is the one that is driven mostly by gameplay even though story elements exist, is Mario. The only reason we are just not seeing 'scenes from a movie' is because console gaming is now getting enough power to incorporate it into the gameplay.

It's not diversity when all big games in this generation go for this ultra-directed cinematic presentation and simplistic gameplay. Games becoming interactive movies without people even realising it. |
So true.
Every time I read something new about this game it just keeps getting worse and worse. It's sounding to much like Heavy Rain. Too much story and too little gameplay it worked for a game like MGS4 but I'm expecting an intense Zombie/Monster shooter and I would like something even better than left 4 dead. But Naughty dog has really done wonders this gen so it deserves our faith. I haven't seen any gameplay yet so I can't judge but after the trailer my expectations were above the roof and now I'm just hoping for this game to be as good or almost as good as Left 4 dead.
If they take Uncharted 3 put a different story, characters and replace it with monsters it get's a 9/10 almost certainly for me. Uncharted 3 is the best game I've ever played so I really got to give this game more attention.
So this music guy worked on Brokeback Mountain, and shows interest in this game after the story is run through him.
I think this composer has a passion for making music inspired by strong relationships, so the early theories that Joel and Ellie might be lovers is not sounding so ridiculous to me anymore.
I hope Naught doesn't pull a Leon on us. Wait ... I love that movie. Go for it Naughty Dog!

It's something I expected.
