Exactly as I predicted months before the conflict ended, Libya has been left divided, in rubble, and the new regime is really no better than Muammar El Qaddafi

Did anyone really expect it to become peaceful just because the UN intervened.

It will take years until Libya becomes somewhat peaceful, at best. They have just had a revolution afterall. The same goes for Egypt.

Yeah, imo a country cannot go from a dictatorship to a liberal democracy unless it has strong institutions or had previous experience with democracy.

I dont think egypt will be "somewhat peaceful" at all.

A secular totalitarian regime will be replaced by an islamic totalitarian regime, the whole situation wont be better than before believe me.

I feel bad for the copts in egypt....
