No, it won't reach. I just think that 170k in Na/Jp is hard to try after christmas, but I've been wrong before. Definetly next week though.

After Stringers words ,US alone .
Next week it will reach 9 million, very close this week though.

well like this site states its a guestimate not an exact figure so 1-2 hundred thousand margin of error on any console is possible but the question is do we thinks its possible to add 270,000 sales worldwide and go over 9 million on vgchartz yes its Possible! I saw one picked up in BB today 40 gig model!
Actually I think it will fall short now after looking at the numbers.
125K in others, and others is usually PS3's best.
I'd guess maybe 80K in US and 40K in Japan this week.
My guess is it will have 8,950,000. I think it will fall short by 50K.
