Why can't you have a bias towards a console if you don't own it? I don't own a PS3, but I do know pretty much everything there is to know about all 3 systems, and have played each extensively, so I know which one I favour.

I didn't own a console last gen either, but i lived in house that had a PS2, Dreamcast & Gamecube, and I had a friend around the corner that had an Xbox, so forming an opinion was pretty easy. Saying that you have to own a console to have a bias towards it is basically implying that people are just trying to justify their purchase.

OT: the GTA trilogy is a must-have if you don't own them on other systems, and I would say Tekken 5, but you may as well just download DR. That's only worth it if you play a lot of multiplayer though.

The only PS2 game you've played is Buzz??? That's just... weird. 

 While I do agree with this list, I would advise you check the backwards compatibility list here, the bolded ones are the ones I have playedon PS3 without problems, except KH 2 which has one problem which makes one boss invincible. To clear that I had to start the game again on my PS2. I will test Jak games, R & C 3, GoW 1 if you want, although will not be able to test them until the end of the week.
