i tried to sign up like 2 days after it stopped accepting stuff cause of nintenfail.. honestly all nintendo had to do was say " give us royalties from however you make money and you can keep going.."

its sad because we all know nintendo will never make a pokemon mmo and keep it worth while or it will be absurdly expensive.

i still want a Zak Mackracken remake with the Uncharted Engine and Charakters :)

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The annoying thing was, they didn't make any money from it at all - all of their coders worked for free, and paid for the servers themselves - they didn't accept donations or have advertisements on their site so that Nintendo couldn't claim they were making money off the franchise

I don't like the idea of directly controlling the pokemon. I don't mind if the battle system is more like an RTS than an RPG, but controlling the pokemon like I was playing an action game removes the feeling of commanding a team of creatures you've trained and bred. Besides, one way to really improve the combat would be to let the player easily control 3 or more pokemon simultaneously in battle ,where their abilities can compliment each other. You can do this in an RTS or a combat system similar to kingdom hearts with a tag button, but even that is too much direct control.
How come you didn't suggest a pokemon MMORPG? Releasing that within two years of the WiiU's launch will not only show that Nintendo is serious about online with the WiiU, but will probably put the WiiU firmly in first position for at least the first half of next gen!

because a pokemon was already made but nintendo shut it down. it was free and apparently really really good. to be honest i hate nintendo as a company because of crap like that.
directly controled pokemon would bring new life into t he game, you still command them but now its more skill involved also it be nice to see the moves in real time, i mean immagine flying high as charizard  in high speed air fights, then switching to sandshrew and digging at under ground to hit the opponent.
it would be more like the TV show which is good.

About the pokemon MMORPG, Miyamoto (or maybe it was Iwata?) thinks the ideal pokemon experience is portable, kinda like a tamagochi. That's why the consoles never get a full-fledged pokemon. Anyway, Nintendo's orientation is undergoing a paradigm shift so this is probably the right time for fans to cry for a pokemon MMORPG.
At usrevenge, have you played any of the Zeldas on DS? Or digimon world 1? The battle systems in those games let you command multiple characters in real time without actual direct control in the case of digimon, and with the abilty to directly control one character while the other executes your last command in Zelda. I'd love that for pokemon. But I don't want to control the pokemon witn a setup like A jumps, B strikes and my 4 attacks are mapped to the d-pad.

My thread for teaching VGC some Nigerian slangs

i played digimon world, it was kinda clunky and wouldnt allow the intense battles you see on the show, i should be able to jump onto objects, climb trees, digimon you basically walked in small circle and pressed square or something for an attack.

Pokemon suggestion sounds good, although they would need a really good formula for that to work, like chances to dodge are higher when the level is higher, and put some luck into it as well, faster pokemon move faster so they evade more, that would be great if done correctly

i used to play Pokemon a lot, but it's not just that the forula is old now, it's still great, but those hackers online just ruin the game, they have any pokemon they want with any moves and any power, that makes the game pointless to play....

hopefully 3DS pokemon will not be able to connect to DS pokemon

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

in the TV show, pikachu overcame its disadvantage vs rock pokemon by hitting the fire extinguishing system in a building.
so in a game, i think be cool if tag team water-> electricity would = massive damage
