I'm thinking this is more along the lines of first party exclusives, which Rayman is neither.

What MS really needs is a Hack and Slash; action/adventure so they something to compete against Sony's, God Of War franchise and Nintendo's, Zelda franchise (Fable doesn't count because it's an RPG). What they could also use is a big platformer, which I think Twisted Pixel or Rare could do.

Rare still has the rights to the Banjo and Kazooie games, so they could definitely work something up with that series (not talking about Nuts & Bolts; it needs to be a platformer).

It's good they mention that they want to add new blood to their core IP's. Microsoft are lacking a bit in first party diversity at the moment in my opinion.

This could however be just job listings for next gen games in production that are still at least 2-4 years away.

Really glad they're focusing on expanding their IP base, a few more great games are always welcome!

Really hoping for at least 1 game to be along the lines of Beyond Good & Evil, or Jade's Empire, or at least a game of that sort, we need more of those!

Yes a new Jade Empire game would be an awesome addition to have in the 360's library. I can't really understand why they won't make another Jade Empire game.

Well, Bioware made Jade Empire and since they're a part of EA and we all know EA likes multiplats, I don't see another one being made and being exclusive to MS (I would guess that MS helped with the development of Jade Empire?).
