Hopefully it fixes it, straight from the horses mouth. For those who have no idea what this is about.. on Skyrim for PS3, when your saved game gets to a certain size (roughly 6mb), the game slowly starts to stutter, lag, FPS drop, texture issues, quest/npc issues etc.

This update should be within the next week I'm hoping.

And another thing, a lot of concern has been around, will this update for the lag problems mean you have to restart your game entirely? No.

My save file is sitting at 7.5MB and I have had 0 lag the entire game.

Running the game on an original 60gig.

For those having problems tho, this is awesome news!

I'm at about 7MB, i'm having slight lag issues, i know the more this number increases the higher my chances of lag increases.

It's nothing unplayable for me, but it's noticeably different from when I started the game (it ran very smoothly then).

I am sorry Bethesda but, after Fallout 3, I gave up playing your buggy games despite the great design.

So how many hours does it take for your save to reach 7 MB?

Seems very spotty.  My buddy is playing the game on an Original 20gig and his file is sitting at 5.5MB and he has so much lag the game is almost unplayable.  He showed it to me tonight and its just unbelievable.  Ive had none (maybe a pause or so right after the game loads but nothing past that). 

Guess Im lucky.  Almost the exact opposite happend with us and Fallout 3 (which I ended up playing on the PC)
