I agree with the three stars being much easier to get. Much less occurring blue shells help. :P

Less occurring blue shells? XD

I did my first 150cc cup and on Shy Guy Bazaar whenever I went to 1st I got hit by one, for a total of four times during the entire race. That screwed me out of the three stars completely (only managed to get 2nd place).

I've seen blue shells up to three, four times at a race, but there's also races where there's no blue shell (though the frigging high amount of lightning makes up for it )

Actually yes, quite less than say, MKWii. They are both worse and better, though. Better because they also strike all those in line behind you, worse because they push you either back or to the side, causing you to fall off...

Also, because the AI (at least in 150cc) is quite competent, a single Blue Shell in the final lap usually means defeat.

PS: Is it just me or it is much more difficult to seperate yourself from the competition (both online / AI)? I'm usually much better than half my opponents (they don't even boost or snake) and we're all packed together, making the races too volatile, especially because of the dreaded Blue Shell and Lighting Bolt...

The pushing sideways is what pisses me off a lot. I could take the Blue Shell and Lightning with ease if it only made you spin, but the fuckers make you go bounce around like a ping-pong ball >_>.

Haven't tried out online yet, but it seems that the catch-up is stronger on MK7 on 150cc than on previous MKs.

So. Maka Wahu is completely forbidden territory for online play? That glitch pretty much ruins any kind of competitive chance if even just one player uses it >_>.

Unfortunately.

I was paired up with some people and five of them picked that track. All but one of them used the glitch. Needless to say, I left after that.

I've just gotten into the habit where if even one person chooses that track to just finish whatever race gets picked and leaving.

I've seen a lot of people talk about seeing multiple blue shells per match. The most I've seen is two and that rarely happens. Guess I've just been lucky..

I got it used against me in the only online race I tried so far and everyone used it. Sucks for them though, they all had to wait for me to finish XD.

Hmmmm... 1 Blue Shell is usually more unfair than 2 or three...

Didn't find anything wrong with it. Then again, I've only tried the SP version.

Sort of.

Teams are now optional, but there's still the time limit/non-elimination mode for balloon battle.

WTF does VGChartz have a community code to race online?

3DS Friend Code:   4596-9822-6909

Can anyone tell me if there is any sort of time trials charts on Vgchartz where we can see eachother's time trials and see who's the fastest racer on which course?

MK7!! 3DS friend code: 0688 - 5579 - 0994

Also playing DotA2 beta!

I'm may do this in the future when I purchase the game, which should be just before Christmas.
