Has anyone had luck using the library scanning in Halo CEA?  I have googled around and I can't find any advice on it.  I can't seem to get mine to scan, I've tried using the keywords 'scan' and 'analyze'.  I'm sure I'm missing something.  Any advice?  Other commands like 'classic' and 'flashlight' work.  All I found while searching around is people announcing that it will exist.

I don't have Kinect but wasn't there a way to scan with the controller?

I don't think there is, I'm pretty sure I tried it all.

It works for me. Right now I have a total of 27/45 things scanned. Make sure your looking at the item you scanning directly and the item is not moving(makes it a lot harder). Sometimes the voice command doesn't work every time, so just give it a few shots.

You have to tell it to analyze then point at something orange and tell it to scan. It can be a bit hit and miss.

I have not tried this, maybe because I don't have a kinect.....

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure I had said anaylyze before, but i was defintely using scan the most because I thought you scanned first then analyzed what you found. It does work, I just used it

That is a very good reason to not try it, you could though, but I'd bet you wouldn't succeed.
