So what? It's still a success. And besides, ZELDA games do tend to have legs anyway.

It sold 168k in Japan and 188k Europe and 45k in the U.K.
That brings a total of 401k. I expect 800k in U.S. FW so 1.2 million copies. That's pretty good. Better than I expected at least. But honestly Zelda isn't much fun too me. The gameplay for SS has improved a lot but the visuals look much too outdated for my liking

Which isn't anything to sneeze at in the least (the UK numbers are quite low, but Japan and Europe are both solid—America's will definitely be huge, however).

It is a success, just not as big as I was hoping and what we were led to believe.

The video games industry is growing and I just find it a shame that Zelda seems to be getting left behind instead of keeping up. Look at Skyrim compared Oblivion, I was hoping for something similar. I wanted this to be the biggest Zelda ever, it looks more likely to be another Majoras Mask/Yoshis Island... agreat Nintendo game released when the console its on is in decline.

The Wii is Nintendo's highest selling console, the GameCube was its lowest. I cant honestly see Skyward Sword outselling Wind Waker.

I already noticed it, but either way, congrats ZELDA.  You just ousted TP's opening.  Sure, it's not as good as WW's, but it's still very solid in its own right.

With Europe sales in, I predict around 900k first week worldwide.
