I hope not. Double Dash is my least favorite Mario Kart game.

I suppose that you're right, but I hope that this is just one mode and not an intrical part of the game.

I like winning and losing on my own.

This.

And also this is the kind of things I don't want to see on WiiU. Mario Kart's best iterations are usually the most immediate and arcade ones (like MK DS for instance), a feature like this is exactly the opposite of my idea of  MK, also I don't think turning around trying to shoot enemies would really be that fun after 10 minutes.

Imo if they want to take MK to the next level, they should just add more depht and make it a more varied and customized game experience while keeping it immediate and arcade, in other words it should get the Smash Bros treatment. It's hard to explain whitout make some examples.

-They should bring back the battle mode (not the crappy one on Wii)

-We are accoustumed to have 50cc/100c/150cc and Mirror modes. they could add an additional mode to unlock, where existing tracks gets more "hardcore", for example, Bowser's Castle becomes a slippery castle made of ice; Mario's Receway gets invaded by goombas or some other crazy things.

-Other than Grand Prix and Battle mode they could add an "elimination" mode where you have to race and also pick up and keep baloons to not get eliminated.

-They could let you cusomize your weapon set in local multiplayer mode.

-They could birng back the mission mode from MKDS,make it much better and add multiplayer co-op.

-Add Pokeballs :P

These are just random example ideas, many of them wouldn't really work. what I mean is instead of making new controller options, just spend more time making making new content, experiment something new.

lol this was in a post over in that *I see trouble for WiiU* thread :p

Looks interesting but if they do have something like this for the next MK, I hope it's just a feature and not the main mode

yeah this is a spin-off thread

Jeez its just a co-op MODE. If you hate it because its not 'arcade' enough for you or  whatever, just play regular with the added motion+ tilting benefits.

Also its just a CONCEPT, so things like turning >90° probably can easily be shortcuted with  the sticks or buttons or whatever.

Yes you are right, I've been too extreme. It could effectly work as an alternative mode, like MK3DS first-person view.

nice concept.....lets see if it plans out

If mario kart doesn't use it, I hope another game does.
