I dont like the new system either, more guessing makes us as reliable as the nexgenwarsfreaks :D

The NPD monthly numbers can be had from a number of random sources and there is no need for this site to simply republish those numbers (and they cannot do that legally anyway).

If Ioi can come up with his own sources and publish reasonably accurate numbers, that is going to be better for all of us in the long run.  While I respect the NPD and their accuracy, I don't really care for the way they do business so I am all for supporting a more open business model where we don't get scraps of information 6 weeks after the fact.  Weekly is definitely better, and I am looking forward to the charts in the future - keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot ioi and all you guys working behind the scene! Weekly sales for the US is just amazing, I never thauhgt it could be possible, and I'm really surprise how people are reacting! Having to wait for a complete month to have the data is kind of frustrating, so weekly sales just like japanese sales is great. Now we can compare in "real-time" so once again thank you very much ioi for this great add! Keep up the good work!

Again, why are people so keen to have monthly figures when we now have weekly?

Because they don't like how low the PS3 number are...

Weekly data is fantastic, and after a few months of calibrating your projections vs. NPD's monthly data it can be as accurate as their stuff is. People many times forget or are unaware that NPD's sales numbers are also projections. This website is a great resource ioi, and weekly data makes it better not worse.

I don't know how anyone can not like the weekly charts.  I think people are just used to reading the monthly numbers and aren't used to it.  Also this time we got 6 new weekly charts all at once, and it was kind of overwhelming for everyone i think.

As time passes and they come out week by week i think we will enjoy this much more. It will be good to compare these to other sources to get an idea of how accurate they are though.

If you want support why can't I see a "donate" feature on your website, I'm a big supporter of a "donation" world where fans donate instead of paying before enjoying, the same goes for music and movies. I must say I never click on ads. How do you find money to run this business? Are you affluent?

*thumbs up* Good work guys keep it up!

Not at all - anything we get is just from ads on the site and the hits and impressions we get from you guys.
