I agree. They also left out Disgaea 3. Personall, I cannot wait for that game.

Epic list, and it has tons of games I'm looking forward too missing also. Thing is, the lack of release dates really makes things start to look cramped, I've a feeling we're soon going to see some of these pushed to 2009.
Although there are so many, chances are we're going to be left in a state where I've neither time of money to play them all anyway. God I just hope Socom Confrontation is out soon, Home would be pretty good too.
Oh man i wish GOW 3 was on that list. GOW was great, but GOW2 took it to the next level and made it an amazing franchise, improving on everythiing from boss fights, combat, to and even better story (all these were great on the original btw, it's just that part 2 was better.) I can't wait to see Kratos on ps3 graphics!

The sales predictions for the first three months are USA only. I think that LBP numbers are on the generous side of things. For reference, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction is at 300k after ten weeks. |
No, it's way too low of a prediction. But it's easy to say it will be low since it will probably be downloadable and those numbers aren't tracked (like Warhawk and GT5: Prologue).
LBP will sell a lot better than Ratchet has.
At least two titles there that I'm seriously interested in getting, and a few more kinda wants. That's quite a bit better than last year, and I expect sales to improve similarly.
I'm not sure why people think Little Big Planet will sell better than Ratchet. It's always seemed clear to me that it's a weird niche title that'll be really popular with its fans, but never reach a large audience, especially considering what kinds of games the PS3's userbase seems interested in. Quickly skimming through the screenshots, can you find the one that doesn't fit in?

There are very few people that aren't interested in LBP from what I've seen and heard.
Add WKS, Yakuza 3, and Disgaea 3 to that list.
Assuming Yakuza 3 makes it out in '08 sometime. I know Yakuza 2 hasn't hit the states yet.

LBP will pwn! It shot right up to my #1 most anticipated game when it was unveiled at GDC last year.
Well, maybe #2, behind MGS4. I think it just edges out Brawl for me, which is quite a feat.
Other exclsuives not mentioned with a possible 08' release date:
The Agency (Sony made MMO)
Infamous
Red Dead Revolver 2 (Rockstar exclusive)
Eight Days
Heavy Rain
The Getaway 3
Wardevil
All in all 08' is shaping up to be a great year for PS3 owners.
