Forums - Gaming - Those who got MW3:How do you like it so far?

I live in the UK, so got the game midnight and been playing for the past 2-3ish hours.

I have to say, I'm loving it so far. Haven't seen any lags/glitches or anything too overpowered. Snipers seem to have gotten a bit of a boost though and quickscoping is back full force, which I don't really care much about. Graphics actually seems to have gotten a boost (not ground-breaking but nice) and the sounds in general, especially on the weapons are absolutely awesome, not like BO's terrible sounds.

So far I have to say Kill confirmed is my favourite game mode, still need to try team defender besides most other objective modes. Campaign and spec ops missions are still untouched as I intend to play them tomorrow. Did try a game of survival with a random dude and got to level 20ish and it was a blast. Survival has a lot of variety which can keep things interesting.

So anyway, I'll stop my rant with the ending note that the game is HUGE, especially with the free elite app download as well. So who else got the game, and what do you think so the game? Worth it? (I would appreciate if you didn't put any hateful comment if you haven't played the game.)

Only played around 5-6 missions of the campaign so far, but i think its great, lots of high octane action.

Also tested survival mode.......... seems really good aswell.

Overall very pleased.

Yea looking forward to playing the campaign myself. I might just go for Veteran on the get go on this game to get all the achievements all at once+to make it a bit longer. Normally I'd do regular to breeze through the story and then replay on veteran, but we'll see.

My brother just texted me. He's in line at his local GameStop (It's 11:30 here on the US East Coast).

Well, i'm playing on normal, and have encountered a few tricky spots.

I'm sure you will complete it on veteran, but i would just play through the campaign first on normal, simply because it will make your veteran playthrough less troublesome once you know where all the enemies are.

Theres tonnes of enemies in the "London" levels, so familiarising yourself first will undoubtedly help.

Oh, and the London levels are SUPERB by the way. (total chaos around every turn)

only one more hour until i get it.

1/2 more hour man, and then you'll be able to experience the awesomeness.

@Ronster: Yea good advice actually. I think I might just go through the campaign on regular for the fun and story. Veteran can be very time comsuming and frustrating. Plus I'm actually looking forward to play the london underground level, since I do travel by underground everyday and study in london. Scary when you think about it lol.

Nice to see the campaign is a lot of fun unlike Black Ops.
