If you just want an MMO you may also want to try DC universe. It's officially free-to-play and it doesn't look bad at all.

Sadly, I'm only really interested in this one becuase it's got Final fantasy on the name ¬_¬ I tried DC but couldn't really get into it. It was good but ultimately not for me.

Could give it a shot. It's not like you will break the bank on the purchase.
If you are not into MMOs then this will certainly not change your mind. The controls are optimized for console controllers and that's a major plus but that's about it.
But sadly, the game won't be out till next year and will be subscription based...not really keen on that to be honest, guess I'll pass.
